"Will it meet my needs?"

THE Shed Company's product range has been specially designed to provide the versatility and flexibility required to meet your particular building needs.

Contemporary or Heritage styles including garages and carports to protect your family vehicles; storage sheds, barns or stables for the acreage owner; farm, hay, machinery and shearing sheds for the man on the land or factories, warehouses and aircraft hangars for the businessman, all in an almost endless range of sizes and styles.

You can choose from five different roof pitches and twenty-nine different COLORBOND © colours with a large choice of cladding and rainwater profiles, roller doors, metal sliding doors, sectional overhead doors and roller shutters to suit your every need

Other options include sliding windows, personal access doors, sliding glass doors, both gable and skillion awnings, mezzanine floors, remote control door openers, skylights, roof ventilators and vermin proofing

"What about quality, durability and warranties?"

COLORBOND © steel is on a ZINCALUME © base and is one of the most advanced building materials in the world. Its superior oven-baked finish resists chipping, peeling and cracking. It is also non-combustible and termite resistant, protecting your valuable assets against the harsh Australian climate and comes with a warranty from BlueScope Steel of up to 15 years against perforation in the natural elements.

All the building components manufactured for THE Shed Company by Stramit Building Products are designed, produced and tested to the relevant Australian Standards and codes and are also backed by that company's warranty to perform as specified.

In addition, you will have the extra security of THE Shed Company's 25-year structural warranty on your building and a 6-year warranty on all workmanship.

"Will it look good?"

Choose from a contemporary style using THE Shed Company's attractive gable roof and modern square line gutters and barge combined with a high or low rib cladding profile, or if you prefer create a heritage style with a higher pitched roof and quad gutters and barge combined with traditional corrugated cladding.

THE Shed Company product range options include five different roof pitches and twenty-nine different COLORBOND © colours with a large choice of different cladding and rainwater profiles to match your existing environment and of course, all cladding is fixed with colour matched tek screws at no additional cost.

"Can I build it myself or will you build it for me?"

The choice is yours - we can either supply your building in kit form for you to assemble, or we can arrange construction, including your concrete slab if required, for you. We engage only competent, experienced, properly licensed tradesmen to install your building and we insist that our builders and concretors are there on time and that they leave your site clean and tidy at the completion of your job.

Should you decide to assemble it yourself, we will supply you with a full set of architectural drawings and engineering plans and specifications plus detailed assembly instructions showing you, step-by-step how to assemble your building.

"Do you deliver and install in my area?"

THE Shed Company has a wide network of carefully chosen local distributors to assist you to select the exact building to suit your needs and also to ensure that you become another satisfied THE Shed Company owner.

Your local THE Shed Company Distributor will arrange manufacture of your building by Stramit Building Products at their plant closest to your building site to ensure that it is delivered speedily and damage free to your door.

"Are building permits and approvals necessary?"

You will have peace of mind knowing that your new THE Shed Company building is engineer designed to meet all Australian Standards, the Building Code of Australia and all Local Government and Statutory Authority requirements.

We provide detailed engineering design plans and specifications together with scaled architectural drawings for your building for submission by you to your local Council, or we can arrange your Council building permit approval for you if you prefer.

The length of time required to gain your building permit varies from a few days to around six weeks depending on the local government area concerned.

"How soon can I have it?"

Our standard lead-time to have your building manufactured and delivered to your site is 15 working days from the date of receiving your Council building permit approval.

If your building is to be installed on a concrete slab, we would normally arrange for your slab to be poured during this period (subject to weather) to allow curing prior to construction.

We would then arrange for our builders to be on-site within a few days of delivery of your building to arrange installation. We keep you fully advised of progress throughout the construction stages.

"What maintenance is required?"

ZINCALUME © and COLORBOND © high tensile steel has been specially developed by Australians to withstand this country's harsh climatic conditions and minimal maintenance is required.

Regular washing with water will enhance the life of your THE Shed Company building and also maintain its appearance and protect your asset.

Where the building is located in coastal areas, some parts of your building such as wall cladding under eaves, garage doors and the undersides of gutters should be hosed down at least every six months or more frequently.

"Can you give me a total fixed price to supply and install?"

Your nearest THE Shed Company Dealer will be able to design exactly what you want and give you a fixed price for the whole project subject to inspecting your proposed building site. He will arrange and obligation free site inspection, without additional charge and advise you what earthworks, retaining and/or drainage may be required and then give you an estimate for these works to be carried out.

You then have 14 days in which to accept that price upon which the Dealer will hold that price firm for a minimum of 30 days from the date of your acceptance of the quotation.

"Will I be able to afford it?"

You will find all THE Shed Company products are of premium quality, but also are very competitively priced. We will design the exact building to meet your particular needs and ensure that it is also within your budget.

We will then give you a fixed price quotation that is valid for 14 days to allow you to plan and fully consider your proposed investment, prior to making your buying decision and then hold that price firm for a minimum of 30 days from the date of your acceptance of the quotation.
You will not find better value for your money than at your local THE Shed Company Dealer.
