THE Shed Company software makes franchisee life easier

THE Shed Company are making the life of franchisees easier with their state of the art software, specifically designed to allow fast and accurate estimating, quoting, costing and ordering of the building franchises’ portal-framed prefabricated steel structures.

The specially-developed software interprets engineering designs to create the exact specifications of the prospective building plus a bill of all materials and full colour scaled architectural drawings. The software also provides a detailed quotation and sales order form.

Franchisees can quickly and accurately calculate the cost and selling price for construction, concrete slab and pier footings and assess how much concrete is needed for any of the building franchise’s product range.

Incremental spans, eave heights and bay sizes can all be calculated by the software which also generates precise cutting and punching details for manufacturing processes. Other on-demand reports can be created including supplier purchase orders, costing summaries, construction component lists and portal framing drawings.

THE Shed Company software also includes a financial modelling program, written directly to the building franchises’ franchisees. The software can forecast likely profit and cash-flow outcomes as well as calculate working capital needed to start the building franchise. Additional features include break-even analyses and ‘what if?’ scenarios.

The software can also assist in preparing annual business budgets and produces a variety of reports to show budget figures, actual figures and variations in graph form.

THE Shed Company software also eases communication between the franchisor and franchisee facilitating the electronic transfer of price changes, software enhancements, component and product updates and new products direct to the franchisee.

An online help desk provides added support and an automatic link-up between franchisor and franchisee for the quick resolution of queries or special training needs.
