EasyShed's Top Tips for Shed Assembly
This is a guest blog post written by Sharon Brown-Cikos, Marketing Manager for EasyShed, Australia's leading supplier of steel kit garden sheds.
Time to put together your EasyShed garden shed? You might be surprised to learn that you already have the tools and equipment you need to get started. Here are our 5 tips for getting set to install your EasyShed.
1) Prepare Your Work Area
It may seem obvious but before you get started, prepare the area where you will be assembling your new garden shed. If you don’t have a workbench long enough, create your own using 2 trestles and 2 long pieces of timber.
2) Have Your Gloves Handy
You’ll need a good quality pair of gloves when assembling your shed. Safety comes first when handling steel sheets, even if you are used to working with your hands.
3) Grab Your Tools
Set up your work space with these tools in easy reach:
- Cordless Drill & Drill Bits
- Safety Knife
- Measuring Tape
- Pencil (slightly blunt)
- Pliers or Multigrips
4) Recruit a Mate
Two sets of hands are better than one, and we strongly suggest you have an ‘assistant’ to help out. Offer payment in pizza (or beers!) and we are sure you won’t have too much trouble finding a volunteer.
5) Check Out Our Instruction Videos
EasyShed has easy to follow video instructions, demonstrating each stage of our innovative 5 Step Assembly® process. Take a look at them here before you get started.
Once you’ve covered all of these essentials, you’re good to go. You and your mate will be eating pizza and admiring your newly installed garden shed from EasyShed in no time!
