The Studio Shed kit includes the steel frame, bracketry, bolts, screws, and sheeting. However, you will need to source the doors, windows, flooring, and internal linings yourself, to achieve your desired vision.

The Shed Company is committed to quality, and proudly manufacture our buildings from premium BlueScope Steel. Our sheds feature high tensile cold-rolled structural steel sections, manufactured from Galvaspan® Steel by BlueScope with a minimum of 450 MPa.

All sheds from The Shed Company are ShedSafe Accredited and undergo site specific engineering to ensure the safety of your structure. This accreditation guarantees the design and engineering of your shed meets Australian Building Standards.

If you’re after an alternative to a traditional slab floor, we offer a raised flooring system. With this upgrade, the shed is elevated on steel bearers and joists (fixed to concrete piers) allowing the flooring system to sit 600mm above ground level, giving you the flexibility to install your own flooring of choice. Concrete, floorboards, and associated fixings not included.

The Studio Shed is recommended for individuals with prior construction experience and who are confident using tools. If you do not have experience in this area, we advise engaging a qualified builder or licensed tradesperson to complete the assembly.

If you're planning to assemble the shed yourself, keep in mind that some
cutting and drilling will be required.
You'll need the following tools:
- Spirit level, measuring tape, clamps, metal snips
- Concrete hammer drill, impact driver, rivet gun
- Safety gear (gloves, glasses, etc.)

*The Gable Studio shed has been designed to meet the requirements of New South Wales’ self-assessable building guidelines, and may not require council approval if you are building in the state. The Skillion Studio Shed is designed to meet both Queensland and New South Wales self-assessable building guidelines. 

However, requirements can vary, so no matter where you’re located, always check with your local authority to confirm what approvals may be needed in your area.
