Alf Stewart’s new Bait Shed is an iconic addition to the Home and Away set, designed and supplied by our Sydney North team at The Shed Company.
The 6m x 8m x 3m shed features a 2.5m x 8m awning, providing both functionality and a classic coastal aesthetic. Styled in COLORBOND® Shale Grey™, Dover White™, and Deep Ocean®, it perfectly complements the beachside setting of Summer Bay.
This shed was a special surprise from the network to celebrate Alf Stewart’s 80th birthday. The actor had no idea this was happening, making his reaction on TV completely genuine.
This project was a great opportunity to showcase our ability to create custom structures that blend seamlessly into their surroundings while maintaining durability for on-set filming.
